Outstanding antique fine jewelry casket or jewelry box. Gilded silver with overall chasing and scroll work framing bevelled glass panels mounted with figurals including nude maidens and putti and cherubs. Finely tooled and decorated with reticulated vines and florals mounted with more than 50 rose-cut diamonds or diamond chips, natural pearl, turquoise and other semiprecious stones. Approx. 7" square by 5" tall. Very good condition with wear to gilding and some loose applications. One loose piece of turquoise, included. No obvious damage or loss but there are a couple of small loose pieces included. 2 illegible hallmarks in center of base.
