Vintage Mexican Taxco Sterling silver bracelet. Four links depicting a stylized figure typical of a pre-Columbian clay stamp design. Stamped in a circle, 'Taxco Sterling', and initials 'JLF' for Jose Luis Flores who worked for Hector Aguilar at Taller Borda for many years, and also produced for Emma Melendez and Miguel Garcia Martinez. No eagle stamp; probably pre 1948. See Hougart "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks", pages 27 & 28, as well as Morrill "Silver Masters of Mexico, numerous references. Weight 66 grams, 2.12 troy oz; Length 6 1/4 "; Width 1 3/8". Very good condition with no damage. Sold as is.
