This lot includes golf shoes which have been displayed since opening day in 1978 at the Guinness World Records Museum in Niagara Falls, Canada. There are 2 unique golf shoes included in this lot. The first is believed to be a replica of the Most Expensive Golf Shoe. Replica shoes were sold at the Guinness World Records Museum attraction at the Empire State Building in New York from 1976-1993 for $6,000 USD. This Stylo Matchmaker branded shoe is reported to be mink lined with ruby tipped cleats. It has been confirmed to have 10 kt gold embellishments and was displayed within the museum since it’s opening in 1978. The second shoe is believed to have been added at a later date to complete the pair within the display. This shoe is a generic replica, however, has been confirmed to have Stylo, 10kt gold, ruby tipped cleats.
