From Forum Gallery: Tula Telfair spent her childhood in West Central Africa. A grant recipient and graduate of Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, Ms. Telfair then became a graduate fellow, receiving her Masters of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University.
Ms. Telfair has exhibited at galleries in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York and Connecticut and her paintings have been included in Museum exhibitions throughout the United States.
Tula Telfair has received many awards, including the Walter Gropius Master Artist award (2015), the Distinguished Honorary Artists Committee at MacDowell Colony (1998), the Marion Locks Award for Excellence in Painting (1984) and the Pennsylvania State Women Caucus Art Award (1980). Her work may be found in dozens of museum and public collections, including the Arkansas Art Center, Epoch Investment Partners, the Federal Reserve Bank, General Electric Corporation, the Hudson River Museum, NBC Universal, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and Omni Hotels. Ms. Telfair recently had solo exhibitions at the Florence Griswold Museum, Old Lyme, Connecticut (2010) and Huntington Museum of Art, in West Virginia (2015).

A low bid purchase does not mean shipping costs will be any less. If you are not prepared to pay for shipping, do not bid. Ripley Auctions has an experienced, professional in-house shipping department. Items will be shipped by UPS, USPS, or FedEx. Tracking will be sent to you by email. Larger items, such as furniture, will be sent by a third-party professional mover. Payment for transport must be received before shipment is confirmed. Ripley Auctions will remain as a liaison with the customer and the mover through-out the delivery process.
Successful bidders will receive a WINNING BID CONFIRMATION immediately following the auction. A FINAL INVOICE will be sent 3-4 business days following the auction which will include shipping and payment details. Payment is expected within 7 business days of receiving the FINAL INVOICE.
