IN PERSON BIDDING

Bidding in person provides the greatest advantage to a bidder. Take advantage of the opportunity to view, handle and research your potential purchases. The auction floor is an exciting and inviting experience. We highly encourage your attendance.

Bidding in person offers the lowest possible buyer’s premium.

You will want to bring a valid ID to register at the auction house. We accept major credit cards, checks and cash. Directions to the Ripley Auctions gallery and auction house are here.

LIVE ONLINE BIDDING

Internet bidding is provided by INVALUABLE. This bidding system allows you to to monitor and bid on each lot as it comes to offer.

You will have a real-time bidding console that allows you to submit bids to the Internet bidding administrator and the auctioneer. This type of absentee bidding is the only way to fully attend and take advantage of every buying opportunity. Registration with INVALUABLE is free.

TELEPHONE BIDDING

A phone bid is an appointment arranged directly with the auction house. We will call you a few moments prior to the lot being offered. Your phone bidding representative will submit bids directly to the auctioneer on your command. Please contact us 48 hours in advance of a sale to register as a phone bidder.

ABSENTEE BIDDING

An absentee bid is an offer for the highest price you are willing to pay for a single lot. This bid is executed on your behalf. The bid can be placed directly with auction house or it can be placed online. Online bids can be place from the  online catalogs at ripleyauctions.com and on INVALUABLE. Absentee bids are not visible on the Ripley Auctions catalog.
