Important Hobe' Baroque style jewelry suite. Hand-painted portrait cameos on mother of pearl, or possibly ivory, amidst ornate gold-tone floral and filigree framing. All pieces impressed 'By Hobe' ' in triangle. Necklace and bracelet, each with 3 strands carnelian glass beads strung on gold tone metal chain, 15" & 7", necklace missing one strand. Brooch with one replaced stone, 2 1/4"across. Earrings, 2 3/4". Reportedly acquired from Hobe's granddaughter. Very good condition. A rare example for collectors. Sold as is.
