Description: Mildred Ball American Modernist large wood pendant with inlaid blue and rust enamel geometric square panel on woven black cord.
Ball was a Mid-Century jeweler, enamelist and an exhibitor at the Walker Art Center in New York City. Her work was also published in Lois E. Franke's 'Handwrought Jewelry' book in 1962, Marbeth Schon's "Modernist Jewelry 1930-1960, The Wearable art Movement" book on page 121.
