Biography from Hagley Museum and Library: Eugene Blery (1805-1887) was a French artist, engraver and lithographer. He printed all of his own artwork which focused on landscapes. The Montalivet family supported Blery. He was recognized and honored during his lifetime for his artwork. He also was mentor to the great artist Charles Meyron (1821-1868).
