Eight Derme Morou, Upper Volta West Africa, bronze figures, made with the lost wax process. Mourou lives in the capital, Ougadougou with his family. His bronze work portrays the village life in Upper Volta.

The object was first made in was, then covered with a fireproof material, usually clay. It is headed until the wax has burned out. Molten bronze is poured into the cavity left by the wax to create his figures.
