Aureliano Toso Forato vase, designed by Dino Martens, and executed by Silvano Simeoni, c.1956. Large green sommerso vase with controlled bubbles encompassing the entire internal layer and a perfectly positioned pierced hole. Examples of this series were shown in the 1956 Bevilaqua La Masa exhibit. 13 3/4"H. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Provenance: Richard and Sylvia Birt, Southern California. Originally acquired by the grandmother of the owner in the 1950's on Murano.
