Description: Eisenberg Original asymmetrical bow brooch with silver pot metal, two large emerald-cut stones form the central knot and oval colorless crystals in various sizes, c. 1940.

The availability of pot metal, used since the 1920s, was coming to an end as WWII approach because of their use for military purposes. In 1943, sterling replaced pot metal. Eisenberg used bows in many of their early designs and remains collectible today.
