Biography from Butler Institute of American Art: Leiber was born 1921 in Brownsville section of Brooklyn.

A New York cousin on his fathers's side became Stan Lee, now head of Marvel comics.

Education: enrolled at Royal Academy of Art in Budapest 1945, studie with Istan Szonyi and Aurel Bernath, later with Robert Berenyi. After World War II enrolled at the Art Student's League with Louis Bosa. Other teachers included Morris Kantor, Byron Browne, Carl Holty and Vaclav Vytlacil. He had Graphics instruction with Will Barnet and engraving with Gabor Peterdi

Experience : Printmaking Workshops with Robert Blackburn, Will Barnet and John von Wicht.
