Ievgueni (Lansere) Lanceray (Russian, 1848-1886), "Troika in Wait", bronze group, horse drawn sleigh with man and dog, 7"H x 12"W, official foundry seal in Cyrillic, and inscribed signature "E. NAHCePe". Very good condition setting on marble base. Provenance: Farber Gallery of Art, Indianapolis. The Farber Gallery collections were primarily purchased in the 1970's. The gallery was only open for a few years in the 1980's in Indianapolis. Most items have been in storage since 1990. All items with Farber provenance are guaranteed as described for an extended period of 45 days from the date of auction.
