Biography from Lasalle.edu: JAMES T. LANG IS A GRADUATE OF THE PHILADELPHIA COLLEGE OF ART, THE BARNES FOUNDATION OF MERION, PA., AND RECEIVED HIS GRADUATE DEGREE IN FINE ARTS FROM THE TYLER ART SCHOOL OF TEMPLE UNIVERSITY IN PHILADELPHIA. HE CONDUCTED RESEARCH ON THE ARTS OF INDIA, CHINA AND JAPAN IN THE ORIENT FOR EIGHT YEARS, WHILE WORKING IN THE STUDIOS OF MESSRS. TAJIMA, YOSHIDA, HAGIWARA AND REV. GAJO SAKAMOTO (ZEN MONK) IN JAPANESE PRINTMAKING AND INK (SUMI) PAINTING.
LANG HAS TAUGHT AS ASS'T. PROF. OF HUMANITIES AND ART AT THE AOYAMA GAKUIN UNIVERSITY IN TOKYO, OLIVET COLLEGE IN MICHIGAN, AND AS VISITING LECTURER IN ASIAN ART AND PRINTMAKING AT TEMPLE UNIVERSITY IN PHILADELPHIA. AT PRESENT HE IS A MEMBER OF THE FINE ART FACULTY OF LA SALLE COLLEGE IN PHILADELPHIA, MOST RECENTLY HE HELPED THE ART STAFF ESTABLISH A PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP FOR THE STUDENTS AT LA SALLE.

J.T. LANG HAS PRESENTED OVER TWENTY-FIVE ONE-MAN SHOWS IN THE U.S. AND ASIA DURING THE PAST FIFTEEN YEARS. HE EXHIBITS IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PRINT SHOWS, INCLUDING: AMERICAN COLOR PRINT SOCIETY, PHILADELPHIA PRINT CLUB, JAPAN PRINT SOCIETY AND MANY JURIED AND INVITED PRINT SHOWS AROUND THE WORLD. EARLY IN 1974 LANG WAS CO-EXHIBITOR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA WITH SCULPTOR ALEXANDER CALDER.
LANG'S WORK IS REPRESENTED IN THE CINCINNATI ART MUSEUM, BIRMINGHAM ART MUSEUM, PHILA, ART MUSEUM, PHILA. Shipping

Shipping is provided for applicable items through a third party shipping service, Shipping Saint. Shipping items through Shipping Saint's pack and ship service can take up to three to four weeks. Please contact our office if you would like to arrange your own shipping. If an item is ineligible for shipping through Shipping Saint, it will be noted in the item's description.
After your initial invoice payment is made, your order will go automatically go to Shipping Saint. Buyers will not automatically receive a shipping invoice. You will be sent a separate invoice for shipping once your initial invoice is paid and your items are packed and ready to ship. Shipping invoiced via Shipping Saint will ask you to verify your address before paying by credit card.
PICKUP: Items are subject to storage fees if they are not removed from premises within 10 business days. If items require third party shipping, arrangements and removal must be completed within 15 business days.
