Pershing and Marshal Ferdinand Foch, Jeno Juszko was Hungarian born and settled in New York City. There he was a WPA artist. His bust of General George Henry Thomas was one of five presented officially by the WPA Federal Art Project* to the city and specifically to the Grant Monument Association, whose members placed the busts in the crypt of Grant's Tomb. In 1919, he completed a painted plaster portrait bust of Theodore Roosevelt.

He also designed medallions* including Eugene V. Debbs and the Ezra Meeker Plaquette in bronze, which was issued by George Dupont Pratt, the founder of the Society of Medalists*, as a personal medal.
