An exhibit of 16 oil paintings by Marian Dodds of Eggertsville, N.Y., is being held at Elmira College. The exhibit, which is located on the top floor of the library and in the Coffee Shop of Cowles Hall, will continue until Mar. 27.

The artist, who studied with Volmey Richardson, nationally known for his floral paintings, has had her pictures exhibited in some of the best known shows in Upstate New York. Although Mrs. Dodds specializes in painting flowers, she has also worked with portraits, landscapes, still life, and animals.

In 1932 she won first prize in the National Show of the League of American Pen Women in Washington, D.C. She is also the winner, among other prizes, of the Gold Medal and Coppins Prize in the Buffalo Society of Artists exhibit 1945 and 1947.

The public is invited to visit the exhibit.
