Mountain landscape, oil on canvas, 35 1/2 x 41 1/2". Possibly signed and dated 1926 or 28? lower right and in the manner of California artist William Wendt (American, 1865-1946). A large and fine western landscape. This painting appears to be of early 20th century vintage based on the age of the canvas and stretcher. It has some professional restoration, less than 5% in-painting, and is nicely framed and ready for presentation.
