apparently Hollstein's only state, Usticke's first state of two, with square plate edges and vertical wipe marks printing, thread margins. (b., holl. 64; h. 277; bb. 54-e).
The backing paper with handwritten title lower and the words, '1st state, h.277', and applied calligraphy number '2403' to the left. Handwriting on verso of original includes various writing, (some illegible); 'No. 3, 4 _____' in pencil, and '_. _. _. 1707' in ink. Other worn pencil marks in lower margin on backing paper.

Repair in facial area of far right figure. 1/2" x 5/8" triangular section of loss upper right. 1/4" loss in margin lower right. Weathering and possible secured minute tear upper left. Partially secured tear and extremely minor loss lower left. Light foxing visible mainly in background. Secured with wheatpaste to backing in four corners.

Provenance: Previously acquired ca. 1940 from a New York collection.

After you are the successful bidder we will send you an invoice which will include your shipping charges. For your protection, full insurance is required and will be included in your charges. We strive to provide you with a professional job at a reasonable price. When your item is shipped you will be furnished with online tracking information for your package.

OVERSIZE ITEMS OR SPECIAL PACKAGING: To streamline the process for our customers, we will contact the shippers after the auction, add the shipping charges to your invoice and bill you for the entire balance due. You will then pay Antique Helper and we will arrange for pickup and delivery of your auction items with the preferred shipper below.
