Important Rookwood floral vellum vase by Carl Schmidt, c.1912. Large and rare vase with purple irises on shaded ground. Factory mark and date, shape #614B, and artist monogram. 15 1/2" tall x 8" diameter. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs caused by damage. Minor factory flaws, slight glaze scaling and a short hairline only visible on interior, does not appear to go through to outside. All issues are fully disclosed in images.
