The prototype winning Indy 500 driver's ring. Wilbur Shaw's gold and diamond Champion ring with enameled checkered flag, conceived as a gift to Shaw from his wife to commemorate his three Indy 500 wins. This special gift given on Christmas of 1945 became the model for the now world-famous ring that is still today awarded annually to the winning driver of the Indy 500.

This 10K yellow gold ring with five round brilliant cut diamonds and platinum accents was created at Ringmaster by Bardach Brothers Inc. of Indianapolis.
